How to structure your blog content for better SEO.
How you structure your website content is one of the keys that ensures your on-page SEO is a success. Here are a few tips on how to organize your content correctly that will score you points with the search engines and how to structure your blog content for better SEO.
Article length for SEO
When it comes to web content, length is only one of the factors to consider. The length of your post is decided by the substance of your content. If you can say it in 300 words, then you may want to do so. If it requires 1,000 words, that’s fine too.
Generally longer posts perform better on every level. The more content you have, the more of it gets indexed. The more that gets indexed, the better it will perform in searches and results. It’s just that simple.
As far as Google is concerned, 1000-2000 word plus articles are the new standard.
Get to know your audience: their needs, their interests, their passions, and their problems. Your goal is to create content your audience is going to read.
Duplicated content is a big no, so stay away from PLR (Public Label Rights) articles that everyone has access to.
Using your own knowledge of your business you can come up with interesting and original articles but if you can’t do this then invest in a quality article writing service to produce your content for you.
Make your content interesting and readable with plenty of sub headlines bullet points images and video so that it is user friendly.
It’s best to keep your keyword density low at about 3 percent. This means that your keyword should appear no more than three times for every 100 words have text if you stuff your key word in the text titles meditate in all takes it will do you more harm than good for content.
Use keywords in a natural way without annoying your users.
The ideal number of times you must repeat keywords for a standard 400 word article is about 2-3 times. Anything beyond that can be considered as spamming and could be potentially flagged by Google and other top search engines.
Make sure to create internal back links on all your content this means that you create interconnecting links from one page to the next especially from your home page to the inner pages this shows the search engines that all the pages on your site are interrelated to each other and improve your SEO.
–>Without proper internal linking, you are only achieving half the results you could without them. Internal links can:
–>Make the content of your page more effective.
–>Rank a page for competitive or less competitive “groups of keywords” once it has achieved buoyancy for those keywords itself.
–>Index new pages which can support even more pages eventually as they mature.
SEO involves the use of targeted keywords relevant to your niche blog and incorporating it into your content marketing.
Keywords can create a significant impact on your efforts at ranking in the search engine results page. Strategic placement of keywords is what will reap the best results.
When reading your article it is important to place your keyword in certain strategic areas in your main title in your first sentence preferably towards the beginning at the sentence two to three times in the body of the text especially in sub-headline in the last paragraph.
If you want to improve the optimization of your content, you can try using variations of a keyword or keyword phrase so that you do not end up using the exact same phrases. It also aids in making the article seem like an easier, more natural read.
Keywords must appear in the first and last paragraph if you want to obtain maximum exposure on Google. This will make it easier for the search engine spiders to crawl through the content and rank it for relevant searches.
Since Google cares about links, it is important to have at least one outbound link in every article. An outbound link is a link to an external website from your site.
The best types about bound links are too high page rank sites with a lot of authority and trust such as web sites run by universities government agencies and media outlets.
Even though there are usability concerns with large links, you want to include outbound links that send visitors outside your website to the content related to your page. This will also build a connection and a sense of trust when you link to authority brands.
All you need to do is find an article on the sites that is related to the content on your site and link to it.
